“Teach a child what is wise, that is morality. Teach him what is wise and beautiful, that is religion!”

--Thomas Henry Huxley (1825-1895), biologist and educator

NURSERY DURING SUNDAY 10AM SERVICE

Child care is provided for infants and toddlers each Sunday during the 10:00 AM Service.

CHURCH SCHOOL

We invite your children to join an exciting Christian education program that welcomes children from preschool through young adult.

Preschool to sixth grade:

  • The core curriculum emphasizes Christian values

  • Students actively participate in worship services, especially on Youth Sunday and in monthly chapel services

  • Special programs highlight the Christmas and Easter seasons

The Church school meets each Sunday from September through June. Classes are held in the Parish hall from 9:55 AM to 11:00 AM, the same time as Sunday worship.

Church school is tuition-free. Children are welcome to join at any time in the school year.  Speak to any Sunday School teacher or a Vestry member, or call the church office to find out about your child joining now.

    JOURNEY TO ADULTHOOD PROGRAM

    Seventh grade through high school:

The Journey to Adulthood (J2A) program helps young people navigate the stormy waters of today’s world and apply Christian values to real-world dilemmas.

Students participate in study and group values discussion in addition to worship services.  Community service projects and social outings are also planned.

Confirmation is scheduled as part of this program at the end of the fourth year of participation.

Please call the church office to find out more.

    ADULT STUDY

Retreat days, special speakers, and seminar series are scheduled throughout the year to allow all seekers to explore the meaning of Christianity in their lives.   Book studies are also used to spark discussion and deepen understanding of Christian values.

In the past, adult forums have met either at 9am, between the two services, or midweek with a "soup-and-bread" fellowship and study program.

We will be holding a survey on our Adult Study program this spring, to suggest possible new topics and ways of study.
